The dock
The narrow strip on the edge of every page, and what its six controls do.
The dock is the only part of Pagenail that’s always on screen. Everything else — the note panel, your stickies — opens from it.

The controls
Top to bottom:

Moving the dock
Drag the grip. When you let go, the dock snaps to whichever edge it’s nearest, keeping the height you dropped it at. The note panel follows and opens inward, so it’s always on screen.
Your position is remembered across pages and sessions. You can also snap the dock to a specific side from the note panel’s header — the two arrow buttons next to the page address.
Clear all
The eye icon hides everything: the note panel, your stickies, and your global notes. The dock itself stays, faded, with the eye still clickable so you can bring everything back.
Two things worth knowing:
- Nothing is deleted. Clear all is a visibility switch, not a delete. Your notes are exactly where you left them.
- It resets when you navigate. Clear all applies to the page you’re on. Go to a different page, or reload, and everything comes back on its own.
Use it when you need an uncluttered look at the page underneath — a screenshot, a print preview, a video.
When the dock disappears
Pagenail hides its entire interface when the browser enters fullscreen, so a fullscreen video is never covered by a sticky. Leave fullscreen and everything returns.
