About

TODO — one or two sentences on what Pagenail is and who built it. Lead with the person, not the product; the rest of the site already covers the product.

Why it exists

TODO — the actual frustration, concretely. A specific afternoon losing the thread across thirty tabs beats any general claim about context switching. Name the real page you were reading.

TODO — and what you tried first, and why it didn't work. Notes apps, bookmarks, a text file. This is the paragraph that makes someone think "that's exactly my problem."

Who's building it

TODO — your name, and one or two lines about you. A photo does more work here than the words do; drop one in public/ and put it above this paragraph.

What I'm committing to

TODO — the promises a one-person project can make that a company can't. Suggested shape, but only keep what's true:

  • TODO — where notes live, and that page content stays in the browser.
  • TODO — no selling data, no ads, no third-party trackers.
  • TODO — that anything you've written stays exportable, free plan included.
  • TODO — what happens to people's notes if you ever stop working on this.

That last one matters more than it looks. Nobody trusts an indie tool with years of notes without knowing the answer.
